I composed my second and third books in small chunks writing everywhere you could imagine. I used the notepad app on my iPhone. I even bought a fifty dollar Bluetooth keyboard so I can easily sit and write when I’m inspired. Once I’m done with my thoughts I email it to myself so when I get home, it’s waiting in my inbox. Then I copy and paste it into a Word document and clean it up.
The internet is a powerful networking and marketing tool. As we all know, anything posted on the internet is permanent. So having a great online profile is nonofficial. Once your book is published, you will be listed on various outlets. You may be surprised at who contacts you in regards to your expertise. TV producers still reach out to me for dating related advice, even though it is no longer my main field of business.
Every book needs an editor. You need a different pair of eyes reading your words. When you are the one writing, you are too involved in the process.
