ASJA Hosts Two Chicago Workshops: November 17-18

The American Society of Journalists and Authors (ASJA) announced two regional writers conferences that will be held in Chicago November 17 and 18, 2017 at the Columbia College campus. Two one-day, back-to-back conferences offer complementary avenues to content success for both freelance editorial professionals and the clients who rely on them for books, articles, web content and other nonfiction journalism.  Registration is now open; see the ASJA Chicago conference web site at http://asja.org/For-Writers/ASJA-Conferences-and-Events/ASJA-Chicago-2017 for more information.

AuthorCon, Nov. 17, will be a ghostwriting intensive for both freelance ghostwriters and the experts and executives who collaborate with them. Content doesn’t write itself. It takes experienced professionals to produce polished content of all lengths, from website copy to books.

Richter Publishing Author, Tonja Anderson-Dell, Presenting at AMC Museum Next Month!

On November 22, 1952, American soldiers boarded a C-124 Globemaster aircraft at McChord AFB, Washington. The aircraft was bound for Anchorage, Alaska, and crashed enroute to that location. A rescue or recovery was deemed too expensive by the military, and these men were left to the Alaskan wilderness. Finally, sixty years later, their fate was revealed to their loved ones and the world.

Blank white book w/pathOn December 2, at 2:00 p.m. Richter Publishing Author, Ms. Tonja Anderson-Dell, will  present her book Gifts from a Glacier: The Quest for an American Flag and 52 Souls describing what a search team at the crash site ultimately discovered and her journey to learn the secrets of this disaster.

Autographed books will be available for purchase immediately following the presentation.

The military search for these airmen continues under Operation Colony Glacier.

Check Out the Authors that Took Home Awards at The Richter Publishing Gala Last Week!

The 4th Annual Author Award Gala took place last Thursday evening and was a great success! All our featured authors created buzz for their newly published books and are off to a great start. Four lucky winner received 5, 10, 15 or 20 percent off of a deal with Richter Publishing as raffle prizes, and one author, (Anne) Alder Allensworth, was chosen as the winner of a FREE publishing contract!
