Richter Publishing Author, Tonja Anderson-Dell, Presenting at AMC Museum Next Month!

On November 22, 1952, American soldiers boarded a C-124 Globemaster aircraft at McChord AFB, Washington. The aircraft was bound for Anchorage, Alaska, and crashed enroute to that location. A rescue or recovery was deemed too expensive by the military, and these men were left to the Alaskan wilderness. Finally, sixty years later, their fate was revealed to their loved ones and the world.

The military search for these airmen continues under Operation Colony Glacier.
