If you’re ready to write your story but are in need or some guidance, or are finished with your manuscript and looking for some incite from a professional, next week, we are launching a Writer Seminar Series!

Dedicate one night a month Feb-July and come get your book done. Join Tara Richter, Richter Publishing, Jamie Klingman and Laurie Stemm, The Kaizen Collaborative, for six nights of focusing on getting published. Bring your computer, grab a drink, and settle in for focused writing time, plus access to an experienced publisher for help and advice. At the end of the series, submit your manuscript for a chance to win a free publishing contract through Richter Publishing’s annual contest! (Entries due August 1, 2018. Author or a representative must physically be present in October 13th 2018 at our annual author awards ceremony to accept the contract if they win.)
Each session will have a focus. The first 30 minutes Tara will cover a certain topic to help you with your manuscript. Afterwards we will break into certain groups where you can write silently or collaborate with other aspiring authors. Tara will also be available for private coaching during the night.

Every book needs an editor. You need a different pair of eyes reading your words. When you are the one writing, you are too involved in the process. You need another person looking at the content with a fresh mind to see if the story runs smoothly. Does it make sense or did you leave out gaps of information that confuses the reader? And, of course, spelling and grammar also need to be reviewed. But how do you do that without an intern – or a big budget? Have no fear! That’s why writer meet-ups were invented! And yes, they really exist.
