Richter Publishing Donates Over 200 Books to Joshua House Library!

Last week Richter Publishing got the opportunity to spread some holiday cheer at the Joshua House!

The Joshua House is a foster care program of the Children’s Home Society of Florida, offering a therapeutic, family-like environment to children between the ages of six and seventeen. Friends of Joshua House Foundation, Inc. is an organization comprised of a group of kindhearted individuals who are dedicated to providing a safe haven for the abused, neglected, and abandoned youth of Tampa.

Last Wednesday we were able to donate some 200 books to the Joshua House Library, just in time for Christmas! We were extremely delighted to be able to support such a great cause. What better way to spend the holiday than by giving, and spreading literacy! Seeing the smiles on the children’s faces was truly rewarding, and made every bit of our visit worthwhile.

Our newest author, Tammy Levent, was also there to help inspire and give away presents to the girls, including copies of her new book, “Sink or Swim.” Click here to learn more about Tammy and her book

We would like to send a special thanks to Tammy Levent and Diana Fisler for their participation and effort, and, last but not least, to the counselors and children at the Joshua House for providing the warmest welcome and accommodation!

HEALTHY EATING EXPENSE: MYTH OR REALITY

Jeff White; master motivational speaker, healthy lifestyle connoisseur and author will be discussing wholesome eating with host Brian Webb on WBLJ NewsTalk 1230 AM in Dalton, GA.

Can you put a price on your health? Big appetites are the norm in families today, but does the higher cost of healthier food destine most people to shop at budget supermarkets, where the same bill can see a family through a week’s worth of, arguably less-healthy, food?

“ORGANIC FOODS WILL ALWAYS BE MORE EXPENSIVE BECAUSE THEY ARE NICHE ITEMS AND NOT MASS PRODUCED.”

All obstacles in the food production chain — such as lower yields, sourcing products and having to prove foods are not contaminated by GMOs– will add additional costs and drive up the price.

ENTREPRENEUR AND FITNESS EXTRAORDINAIRE JEFF WHITE uses his expertise to elaborate on how eating a balanced diet is the key to a healthy life, but can be rather expensive to maintain.

Jeff and Brian will discuss; How can our diet affect our lifestyle? Why is our eating habits conducive to our overall health? Why is good nutrition so expensive? Should we put a price on food?

Don’t forget to grab a copy of his book “The 3 Pillars of Strength: Increasing Your Physical, Mental, and Spiritual Fitness”.

While enjoying these years, students should be developing the right mindset to achieve the success they desire in the future. In order for success to happen, for students to have that lifestyle they often speak of wanting, they must become adults with a solid, results-based work ethic. Wasting these four years can’t be a part of the plan. On the Road: From a Block of Clay

ontheroadPublished author from Richter Publishing, Elizabeth Bunbury’s “On the Road: From a Block of Clay”

In her previous book, FROM A BLOCK OF CLAY, POTLUCK EDITION, Elizabeth Bunbury concluded with these words: “Let the journey begin…” Well, her journey has truly begun, and she is now “on the road”. Bunbury believes it is the path God prepared specifically for her to travel even before she was born. While there were many detours, with God’s help– and of others whom he sent to walk the path with her—she is moving forward. We are all on a journey, and we all have a story to tell. The stories in ON THE ROAD show the progression of Bunbury’s journey with its twists, turns, back-tracking, and going forward again. Your life’s journey may be somewhat similar to hers, or quite different. Either way, it is her prayer that, as you read, you will realize you are not alone on this journey called life. May you learn there is hope that a new, smoother path could be just ahead. “THE ROAD TO SUCCESS IS ALWAYS UNDER CONSTRUCTION.” Author Unknown
